Ryan Myers is a St. Louis-based actor, writer, improviser, and musician. He spends a lot of his time performing:
145s: 40-minute Disney-esque improvised musicals based off a single suggestion (5+ years, bi-monthly)
High Note: late-night improvised short form (1 year, bi-monthly)
Sh*tshow: Writing and performing in one of St. Louis’ longest running sketch shows (5+ years, bi-monthly).
Touch Baseball: two-person, improvised long form (2 years, bi-monthly)
Prior to improv, Ryan was involved in Theatre, playing roles such as Danny Zuko in Grease, Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic & Old Lace, John Proctor in The Crucible, Malcolm in Macbeth, and Arpad Laszlo in She Loves Me, among others.
His 20s were spent singing opera and playing in bands. He received his degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and toured the midwest, playing festivals like South by Southwest and Middle of the Map Fest in KCMO.
Ryan is a Graduate of the Improv Shop in St. Louis, MO and the Musical Improv Program at the iO Theatre in Chicago. When not performing, he’s either reading, playing guitar, gardening with his fiancée, Emily, or cuddling with his puppies Roo and Gilda.
